Our impact on climate change and our wider community.

Climate:

We believe that everybody has their part to play in the fight against climate change, however small, and that includes us.

We’ve worked towards integrating sustainability into every part of our business.  From March 2027 we will begin transitioning our electricity supply, which will be provisioned from wind, solar and hydro power from sites around the UK. The sourcing of the power is entirely fluid – using real-time capture of power from natural resources to power our workplaces.

Beyond our electricity provision, our entire model revolves around the repurposing of old buildings through renovation, giving them renewed purpose, preserving architectural history, and reducing the waste and emissions that come about through ongoing new construction and development. We’ve also built bicycle storage facilities into the majority of our workplaces to encourage our businesses to choose a more environmentally friendly commute.

We’ve eliminated single-use cups from our workplaces and keep a supply of glasses and mugs for our members to use. The free coffee we offer our members across all workplaces in The Boutique Collection is ethically sourced and fair trade. We’re working towards implementing electric car charging points where viable at our workplaces (already available at The Smith in Kingston-upon-Thames) to encourage the use of electric and hybrid vehicles.

But that’s just the beginning. We’re constantly working on new ways to make us a more sustainable business, with the aim of reducing our carbon footprint by as much as possible.

Community:

In 2025 we asked the whole Boutique team to select a charity partner to support.

The chosen partner was Single Homeless Project – an organisation who focus on getting the most vulnerable people off London’s streets. Every year, they give over 10,000 people the opportunity to rebuild their lives and transform their futures – with a focus on homelessness prevention, providing accommodation, re-skilling and training and teaching important life skills. We’re delighted to support this wonderful charity, and the Boutique team has risen to the challenge. We’ve raised funds through running marathons, providing volunteer teams to decorate accommodation and cook food, we’ve provided free-of-charge meeting spaces for their teams and also provided some furniture to their locations.
