The Boutique Workplace Company’s collection of workspaces in central London is expanding again, with a new location currently under construction on the iconic Watling Street in the heart of the City.
The Boutique Collection, comprising of over 25 workspaces across London and beyond, provides SMEs access to high-quality unbranded flexible office space in coveted addresses throughout the capital. This latest expansion of the collection comes as reports forecast that the flexible office market could more than double in size by 2023.
Set to open on 1st March 2022, here’s everything you need to know about 73 Watling Street, the latest boutique workplace to join our collection.
Watling Street is a characterful and historic thoroughfare in the City of London, leading directly to St Paul’s Cathedral. It’s the perfect site for the latest addition to The Boutique Collection, nestled in the heart of central London and surrounded by cultural hotspots and abundant transport links.
Number 73 is an iconic but unloved building that we’re in the process of restoring to its former glory. The 10,000 square feet of space contained within will house almost 175 occupants when we’re done with the transformation, with both coworking lounge access and private office spaces available.
Offices will be available in a variety of sizes to suit everyone, from small teams to whole businesses, and they’ll all come fully-furnished and completely unbranded. We’re also building a smart TV into each office space, perfect for video-conferencing or hosting presentations.
Along with the range of private offices and the members lounge, 73 Watling Street will also house a sophisticated meeting room bookable on-demand, a sleek break-out space to use as a respite from your desk, and a roof terrace with unrivalled views of St Paul’s Cathedral.
Wellbeing and sustainability are both at the forefront of the design ethos of our new space – resulting in a workspace that will be a joy to use. The roof terrace provides the perfect setting for taking a break from your desk, there will be low-strain LED lighting throughout the building, recycling facilities will be available on-site, and we’ll be serving Fairtrade coffee to our members.
Our occupants and members will also be able to make use of all of the surrounding amenities, with local highlights including neighbouring Porterford Butchers (the only butchers in the City), a plethora of cafes and restaurants, and plenty of bars.
In terms of transport links, Bank is the closest underground station, offering access to both the Central and Northern lines, and nearby Mansion House and Cannon Street stations offer access to the Circle and District lines.
73 Watling Street will also become a part of The Boutique Members Club from the day it opens, joining 10 other workspaces in the collection to provide Boutique Members with access to a network of vibrant business lounges.
Watling Street will join the existing workspaces in The Boutique Members Club, based in Clerkenwell, Southwark, Shoreditch, Tottenham Court Road, Piccadilly, Soho Square, Mayfair, St Paul’s, Chancery Lane and Ealing.
As a member, you get to use the business lounges of each of the above workspaces, unlimited tea and coffee, and discounted access to over 40 meeting rooms across central London.
