Holborn Town Hall, with its Portland stone exterior and marble entrance hall, makes an immediate impression.
Like many of our buildings, this is Grade II listed, so the 25,000 sq ft of office space has kept much of the Town Hall’s period character, and with it a sense of its rich history. What has been added is the day-to-day necessities: business-grade fibre broadband, meeting rooms and private phone booths.
The breakout space is the centrepiece of the building and it’s not much of an exaggeration to call it breathtaking. As a former municipal library, courtroom and records office, it oozes history and is the perfect place for a laid-back latte (complimentary, of course!)
Also worth a quick mention (and a visit!) are the luxury washrooms with towels and hairdryers on the lower ground floor.
A genuinely impressive building to work out of, and one that clients can’t fail to notice.
