Charles Dickens wrote Oliver Twist a couple of streets away when he lived here in the 1830s, and the original Kingsway tram station lies hidden underneath the road. More recently, many of the houses here were destroyed in The Blitz, but this row of Grade II listed Georgian terraces miraculously survived the bombing. Renovation has made the most of the fabric of the buildings, blending history and contemporary design to create a unique space. Each private office has been given its own identity – different themes and different details – but all share the building’s high ceilings, good views and natural light. There’s a communal lounge for coworking and informal meetings, as well as bookable meeting rooms and an outdoor courtyard.
This location is connected to our John Street workplace by an internal annex, so you can enjoy the amenities in that workplace too.
Aelfy & Virag are your fantastic Workplace Experience Managers here at Theobalds Road.
