Major investment linked to the 2012 Olympic Games helped accelerate regeneration across Stratford and the wider Lower Lea Valley. New homes, offices, retail destinations and public spaces have transformed the area, while transport improvements have strengthened connections to central London and beyond. Developments around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park continue to attract businesses, residents and visitors. Despite these changes, the East End retains a strong local identity shaped by generations of migration and community life.
The East End of London is a historic and diverse area stretching east from the City of London towards the River Thames. Traditionally associated with the boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham, and parts of Southwark, the East End has played a vital role in London’s growth for centuries. During the 19th and early 20th centuries, it became a centre of industry, manufacturing, and dockland activity, attracting workers and immigrant communities from around the world.
Commerce has long been central to the East End’s identity. Historically, the area’s economy was driven by the Port of London, shipbuilding, textiles, and manufacturing. Today, following extensive regeneration, the East End is home to thriving financial, technology, creative, and retail sectors. Developments around Canary Wharf, Stratford, and Shoreditch have attracted international businesses, while traditional markets such as Brick Lane and Columbia Road continue to support local commerce and tourism.

Our four buildings in East London and Shoreditch are close together; First-up there is our new space at 16 Middlesex Street. It’s on site of a former Inn and Theatre and offers several floors of office space, with meeting rooms and a vibrant breakout space too. The Rutherford on Hoxton Square and 114–116 Curtain Road are two minutes apart, while Tagwright House on Westland Place is a 10-minute walk from both. The Rutherford is the largest; five floors of offices ranging in size from 300 to 7,000 sq ft, with meeting rooms, showers and bike storage, and opening directly onto a garden square. Tagwright House is a converted warehouse with two meeting rooms, 24-hour access and a shared kitchen, and suits smaller teams and individuals. 114–116 Curtain Road offers both private offices and open-plan coworking in a 1960s warehouse conversion, with a rooftop terrace, meeting rooms and a breakout space.
With the growth and expansion of the underground in the last 15 years, there is no longer an east/west divide when navigating your way around.
The Elizabeth line changed the game, connecting the East end to the West End seamlessly in a little over 10 minutes travel time – this has been fundamentally important as it opens up greater opportunities to work and travel in different locations. Exclusive to the east and the broader Docklands area, the Docklands Light Railway connects the micro-communities with ease. Overground, the East is predominantly served by Liverpool St, Cannon St and Fenchurch St stations.

Yes, you can. Around 13 of our locations have lounges, which means no matter which workplace you choose as your home, you can drop into any of those 13 locations and work from the lounge area. They include Soho, the City, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Farringdon, Shoreditch and many more.

Yes, from March 2027 we will begin the transition of our electricity supply to a new green supplier. They provide fully sustainable energy generated in the UK by wind, solar and hydro power.
We know our clients love dogs and we do too. All of our locations are dog friendly. We just ask you to keep them on a lead in our communal areas.
Private office clients are welcome to use our gym spaces, free of charge. We currently have gym and wellbeing facilities in Colmore Row (Birmingham), Sovereign Gate (Richmond), Jessop House (Cheltenham), Frederick’s Place and Threadneedle St (City of London), plus Connolly Works and Grays Inn Road close to King’s Cross.
Many of them are listed buildings which have been restored to provide modern workspaces in historic, period buildings.
Yes, we’re very proud of what we’ve created. Our clients sometimes intend to stay with us for a year or so, and often stay for 3 or 4 years until they need a large long-lease office of their own. Our Net Promoter Score is classified as ‘Strong’ and we consistently get 5* reviews on Google across most of our workplaces.
We do yes, across all of our locations we partner with a number of business to bring a benefit to our clients. We have a partnership with Virgin Active where our clients received a 37.5% discount on the monthly membership.
