When the Shard opened its glass doors in 2012, it towered 310 metres above London Bridge station and signalled the serious intent of the surrounding neighbourhood. Derelict warehouses started to become restaurants and railway arches soon became bars. It breathed new life into Borough Market, too. It is one of the oldest markets in Europe, having traded on roughly the same site since the 11th century, but 30 years ago it was a struggling fruit and veg wholesale spot that was very nearly flattened to make way for yet more roads. Fortunately, it began to reinvent itself a short time before the shadow of the Shard started to creep over it, and now the huge glass landmark reflects London’s bright lights onto the 100-or-so stalls which now attract some 20 million visitors a year. The neighbourhood has been changing quickly ever since and is now home to all sorts of businesses, from financial and professional services, to technology, media and architecture, to food and hospitality.

London Bridge station has both Underground and overland services, and is a 10-minute walk from Notcutt House. The overground station is a major hub for Southern, Southeastern and Thameslink services. Southern has routes to London Victoria, Epsom and the south, Southeastern runs services to and from southeast London, Kent and East Sussex, and Thameslink has routes to Brighton, Bedford, Cambridge and Peterborough, as well as direct trains to Gatwick Airport and Luton Airport Parkway. London Bridge Tube station is on the Northern and Jubilee lines, while Borough (Northern line) and Southwark (Jubilee line) Tube stations are also close by.

Yes, you can. Around 13 of our locations have lounges, which means no matter which workplace you choose as your home, you can drop into any of those 13 locations and work from the lounge area. They include Soho, the City, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Farringdon, Shoreditch and many more.

Yes, from March 2027 we will begin the transition of our electricity supply to a new green supplier. They provide fully sustainable energy generated in the UK by wind, solar and hydro power.
We know our clients love dogs and we do too. All of our locations are dog friendly. We just ask you to keep them on a lead in our communal areas.
Private office clients are welcome to use our gym spaces, free of charge. We currently have gym and wellbeing facilities in Colmore Row (Birmingham), Sovereign Gate (Richmond), Jessop House (Cheltenham), Frederick’s Place and Threadneedle St (City of London), plus Connolly Works and Grays Inn Road close to King’s Cross.
Many of them are listed buildings which have been restored to provide modern workspaces in historic, period buildings.
